With your help, Custom Wine Tours will create your perfect day in the South African Winelands. When we receive your booking application or email, one of our consultants will reach out to discuss your dream tour with you. By answering a few easy questions about your wine and food preferences, your favourite types of wine destinations and your aims and desires for the day, you give us the insights necessary to tailor your tour just the way you imagine. Whether you are a couple in South Africa on holiday, or someone with a special occasion you’d like to celebrate with friends, Custom Wine Tours is sure to make your day trip memorable.
Tours can take place in any of the Cape’s diverse Winelands from Constantia to Stellenbosch, Franschhoek, Elgin and the Hemel en Aarde Valley and include up to four stops along the way. Dependent on your chosen region, pick-ups will be from your hotel, home or office between 8 am and 10.30 and you will be returned to the same destination by 6 pm.
Already have a tour booked, but need someone with the expertise to guide you through the wines, the terroir, the wine market or the history of SA’s gorgeous winelands? We are happy to negotiate prices for one of our experts to join in on the plans you already have in place.
Within one day of payment for the tour and receipt of our questions, you will receive a complete itinerary detailing the route, the name of your guide, their contact details, and the wine farms chosen, along with reasons why they are considered suitable. Should you decide to alter the itinerary in any way, this can be done up to 24 hours before departure.
